Our Mission
Allison Weir founded Weir Readers, LLC in 2026 as a way to reach more families who are seeking support for their young learners. Our mission is to empower every learner through individualized, multisensory reading instruction that builds confidence, strengthens foundational literacy skills, and inspires a lifelong love of learning. We are committed to supporting students at every stage—from struggling readers who need targeted intervention to advanced learners seeking enrichment—by providing engaging, research-based instruction that meets each child where they are and helps them reach their fullest potential.

Our Tutors
Allison Weir is a Certified Reading Specialist who founded Weir Readers in 2026. Mrs. Weir received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary & Special Education with a concentration in English Language Arts from the University of Delaware in 2011 and earned her Master’s Degree in Reading Education from William Paterson University in 2015.
Mrs. Weir is trained in the Orton-Gillingham multisensory reading approach from the Institute of Multisensory Education. Mrs. Weir has over 12 years of experience as a classroom teacher and tutor, and is a mom to two little kids in Pompton Plains, NJ. She brings her passion for reading and learning to every family she works with and believes that everyone can be a reader with the right approach!
