10 Week Session September 15th - November 17th, 2026
Students will develop phonological awareness, foundational reading skills, and a love of books through:
Letter of the Week
Phonics Lesson tailored to age group
Show & Tell
Music & Movement
Interactive story time
Hands-on craft
Themed sensory play
Sound scavenger hunt in the private sandbox
Curated materials sent home to extend learning
One hour of open play after class in the main sandbox
NOTE: 9:00 and 9:40 classes require a caregiver to be present in the room. Pre-Readers and Kindergarten classes are soft separation - a caregiver must be in the building but will not be in the classroom (there are viewing areas to watch the class if you’d like)

Tuesday, September 1st at The Little Sandbox, Wayne, NJ
New families have the opportunity to meet the teacher, try a demo Little Readers class, and have your questions answered!
Demo class is for new students who have not attended a Little Readers’ Club Class before. Anyone who has only attended story time is welcome to attend.
Schedule:
9:30-10:00 Trial Class for Ages 1-3
10:00-10:30 Q&A time with the teacher
10:30-11:00 Trial Class for Ages 4-6
Pricing:
Trial Class: Free
Optional One Hour of Open Play After Class: $13 add on
Parent or caregiver participation is required so that parents can see inside the class. Fall classes will be soft separation for ages 3+ starting 9/15.
