Tuesday Mornings at The Little Sandbox in Wayne, NJ
Multisensory Reading & Early Literacy Class
10 Week Session from September 15th - November 17th, 2026
Students will develop phonological awareness, foundational reading skills, and a love of books through:
Letter of the Week
Phonics Lesson tailored to age group
Show & Tell
Music & Movement
Interactive story time
Hands-on craft
Themed sensory play
Sound scavenger hunt in the private sandbox
Curated materials sent home to extend learning
One hour of open play after class in the main sandbox
NOTE: 9:00 and 9:40 classes require a caregiver to be present in the room. Pre-Readers and Kindergarten classes are soft separation - a caregiver must be in the building but will not be in the classroom (there are viewing areas to watch the class if you’d like)
